So, perhaps the majority of the four months I worked on the app was within this space. There is no such thing as just “add offline mode” though, its like a tonne of small systems that all together interlock to get you a tight experience when you’re on the subway and/or off wifi. It’s really something that needs to be thought of from the get-go and constantly kept up to date.
